On the train home from work last night I caught an article in the free evening paper they hand out and I noticed that according to an IBM online survey, Vegemite is the world's most recognizable brand, besting brand behemouths Coca Cola and Starbucks.
I had my first brush with the legendary spread a few weeks ago and have yet to post my thoughts. Well, I can confirm that it is one of the most foul things I have ever put into my mouth. Seriously. Aussies only like it because of the reaction they get from the outside world. Don't worry I will be sure to bring some home for everyone to try for themselves.

Greetings from Nepal...I was first introduced to vegemite or marmite(the meat version spelling may be incorrect) when I lived in wales My flat mates would spred it on toast everymorning and devour it. I thought it was really gross, give me the jam please...but then like a weird twist of fate I started to enjoy it I too ate it on my toast....I still say that nutella is way better but the Whelsh also love the vegemite
