Sometimes you feel blessed to be in the right place, at the right time and to see history in the making. This past Friday it was announced that Australia has edged out the United States as the fattest country in the world.
The mood on the ground here in Melbourne can only be described as a somber excitement. While naysayers will warn of the dramatic healthrisks this involves, many feel a bit of pride for defeating their American cousins at something.
On the American front: Looks like ordering Diet Coke with those Extra Value meals at McDonald's paid off after all. Whose laughing now Dr. Sanjay Gupta?
