A day in Sydney

On Thursday I flew to Sydney for a day full of meetings. I left about 6:00 a.m. and got back to Melbourne at 11:00 p.m. I didn't get to do much site seeing, but guess what I did see on the way to a meeting at the the state parliament building of New South Wales. That's right, an Arkansas Razorback or boar. Call it what you want, but there is an exact replica of it in Fayetteville on Maple Street. My boss said it got a little unprofessional when I started calling the hogs.

In our first meeting of the day was the Westfield group, an American-Australian company and the largest retail property group in the world by equity market capitalisation and the ninth largest entity listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, I looked out the meeting room window and saw the famous Sydney Opera House. After sitting in on some fairly high level meetings with Citibank and the state Parliament of the state of New South Wales, I realized what a tremendous opportunity this International Public Service Project is.
